Sail Georgian Bay is a non profit sailing school teaching safety and seamanship in our learn to sail program.

We are members of the Ontario Sailing Association and the Canadian Yachting Association.

Canadian Yachting Association certified instructors run weekly courses during July & August for young people aged 9-18 who wish to learn the in's and out's of sailing, safety & seamanship.

Are you the next Olympic sailor? Or maybe you just wanted to learn to steer a sailboat, in any case there is a CANSail program for you! The CANSail programming has been designed to suit each sailor's age and stage of development. For 2012 the new CYA CANSail Levels 1 to 4 will replace the old system of White Sail and Bronze levels. For our more advanced students there will be an exciting "Chutes and Wires" module taught in our Club 420 and Laser Vago dinghies.

Our instructors are all both CYA trained and CYA registered. We follow the national awards program which makes learning to sail both fun and exciting.

At Sail Georgian Bay, our students learn to sail in our fleet of Escapes, Picos, Lasers, Club 420's and high performance Laser Vagos.
